This is Mike's first new music since the lockdowns ended. These songs were written after his pandemic themed double LP 'Indoor Life'. That record was introverted, and this one is extroverted. It is an awakening almost. The songs on this EP sample voices of extinct indigenous cultures. 'Secondary Emotions' uses the words and voices of The Palicour Indians of the Arucua River in Brazil. 'Flee' was originally slated to be used in the Flee Project series of releases, but did not materialize. The owners of Flee Project were kind enough to give Mike permission to release the track nonetheless. Flee uses elements from Tarantismo - a tribute to Pizzica, antique Italian music used to heal people suffering from a mysterious disease.
